PowerLab PowerLab is a critical component of your business. Unique Business Systems (UBS) understands the importance of maintaining optimal operation conditions and is committed to quickly and efficiently handling your technical problems.
Our technicians are full time, full service employees who are thoroughly trained to take ownership of your specific software problem.
To help you stay ahead and leverage new technology, UBS substantially invests in ongoing development. This means that PowerLab updates reflect industry changes and technological advancements that will be invaluable to your business. Renewing your maintenance contract ensures continued support for the critical operations handled by PowerLab as well as access to program updates.
Updates
PowerLab updates are available with the purchase of a support contract. Updates will be provided upon request. Minimum system requirements necessary to run updates may change. Phone and e-mail based assistance will be provided for update installations.
Additional Hours
Customers may only purchase additional support hours upon expiration of the allotted contract hours. This purchase of additional hours however must be purchased prior to the expiration of their existing maintenance contract period (i.e. before Dec. 31). Unused support hours expire at the end of your maintenance contract period.
Please note: Although Technical Support for customers without a valid maintenance contract is not available, pre-paid Per Call Support may be provided under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the PowerLab Department or the Product Manager.
Per Call Support is $200 for the first 10 minutes and $20 for every minute thereafter. Minimum $200 charge.
Support Plan Restrictions
Support under all plans is provided via phone, e-mail or internet only. A reliable broadband internet connection and remote access are recommended to obtain maximum benefits.
Support does not include: on-site training and support, custom programming, disaster recovery, and installation or configuration of hardware, network, or operating system.
All stores under the same ownership must purchase the same level of support service.
Support is not available for the following UBS Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Technical Support contracts take effect when payment is received. Company Check, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted. All amounts are in US Dollars.

This plan assures you of unlimited priority support and PowerLab updates at no extra cost. Support updates are conveniently available over the internet on our website's client support section.
