Some of the key benefits we realized from R2 have been:

Rental equipment inventory control and tracking which resulted in better utilization and accurate rental billing...this was huge for us

We implemented R2 with plans of running parallel for at least a month or two...within 1 week our customer service people wanted to stop using our old system and move onto R2 which we did

We have been able to almost double the number of transactions we process with 2 less full time employees...eliminated 1 person tracking rental inventory and one person doing rental billing

Sales reps get daily activity reports showing what orders have been processed, what quotes have been generated and what rentals have been returned

Manufacturers get their tracking reports within 2 or 3 days after month ends

Sales inventory is managed much better now that we have history of all transactions, receipts, shipments, transfers, etc...we know true usage and purchase accordingly

There are many more that I am not remembering but this has turned into a great investment and move on our part.
