Since switching to R2 from our previous rental program we have been very happy with both the performance of the software as well as the support offered by Unibiz. From helping to create our inventory database to one on one training sessions the staff at Unibiz have gone beyond the call to ensure that our experience with R2 is a positive one. Whether it’s a question about functionality or a suggestion for improvement, the support team has always seemed like the genuinely cared about our satisfaction. And we have been very satisfied with R2 as a rental program as well as an inventory management tool.

As a touring production company doing audio, lighting and staging we have a very large and diverse inventory that has proved difficult to manage with other software. However R2 has made that a thing of the past. From the creation of an order, through filling and on to shipping R2 has streamlined the process, saving valuable time and money in an industry that demands we be as competitive as possible. As a company doing business on both sides of the US/Canada border R2 has provided us with a simple yet effective way of creating and managing carnet’s and any other documents needed to do business internationally.

R2 has also proven to be a very valuable labor management tool. Assigning staff to a show is now as easy as entering a name. The program will check for conflicts just as it does with equipment and will even send an email to the members of the crew with call times and any other information they might need. As well, service module has also been a great tool for making sure our gear is maintained and broken gear isn’t inadvertently placed on orders. Once the piece of equipment has entered service it is no longer available for rental until it is released. Simple enough in theory but R2 has been the first program we have used that actually works.

Since switching to R2 our productivity has grown and our efficiency has been honed well beyond our expectations. The support we have received has been prompt, courteous, and thorough. As an inventory control tool and a rental program R2 has been an absolute asset to our company.
