New Modules

Activity Manager
R2 Activity Management takes the burden of keeping on top of this away from you. Now set tasks and reminders for yourself and others. Even better, your task, reminders and e-mails are fully integrated with Microsoft Outlook.
 

Point of Sale
Now there is no need to fit a sales order into the form of a rental order. With the new Point of Sales Module, "sales only" orders can be handled the correct way. For both, Counter sales or sales order that need to be filled and dispatched by the warehouse. In addition, prices can be adjusted both ways - marked up from the cost or marked down from the list.

Report Assistant
A new custom tool that lets you generate and save reports easily. Reports can be built easily through "Views" that translate Data Fields into user friendly language. This makes creating reports with Crystal Reports or any ODBC compliant writer a cinch.

Labor Planning & Scheduling (optional)
Equipment and Labor are two sides of the same coin in this business. Now R2 is the only software with a full blown Labor Planning and Scheduling Module. Graphical screens to show you who is available and who is doing what. This way you can optimize skill and cost for the job with drag n drop simplicity.

Important Version 4 Upgrade Information
   
  R2 version 4 is now running at over 35 locations. Version 4 has significant improvements and enhancements. You can read more about the features in version 4 here. Our support team is starting to schedule upgrades now. Please contact R2 Support today to schedule your upgrade.

Please note that the upgrade takes 3 hours to complete.

For your convenience, upgrade services will be made available at the end of the day from 3:00pm to 6:00pm (pacific coast time). This will minimize the impact of the system not being available to your users.

Upgrades will be carried out on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, since we realize that the beginning of the week is typically busy for most companies and this also leaves room to take care of any issues without spilling over to the next Monday.

Upgrades will be scheduled on a first come first served basis. So please make your request at the earliest. Please email or call 1-800-669-4827 to request an upgrade date. We will respond to your request within 48 hours.

Please note that R2 version 3
will not be supported after September 30, 2005
.
Please allow ample time before then to upgrade your system.
